Pray 24-7 365 was established in 2018 as a federally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity with a singular mandate: to cultivate disciplined, continuous prayer while strengthening individuals and families through faith-centered support and service.
From its founding, Pray 24-7 365 was never intended to be a passive prayer initiative. Prayer was understood as both spiritual covering and practical responsibility. The organization was structured to advance prayer as a lifestyle while responding to tangible human need.
Our Early Work in Transitional Life Skills
Beginning in 2018, Pray 24-7 365 entered collaborative efforts within the transitional housing space through partnership with Total Life Christian Center (TLCC). Through this collaboration, the organization supported and participated in the implementation of a structured Transitional Life Skills Development Program designed to serve individuals and families experiencing housing instability.
This work focused on measurable life-skills development including:
- Daily living and self-care routines
- Housing stability and money management
- Employment preparation and work discipline
- Transportation and independent living skills
- Healthy communication and relationship development
- Goal setting and accountability
The program model emphasized structured expectations, personal responsibility, community standards, and spiritual formation alongside practical skill-building.
Through this collaboration, Pray 24-7 365 leadership gained direct experience in:
- Transitional housing operations
- Program standards and resident accountability
- Case-management aligned life-skills training
- Stabilization and independent living planning
- Faith-based structured housing environments
This period established the organizational foundation necessary for long-term expansion in the housing and restoration space.
From Collaboration to Operational Leadership
Over several years of direct exposure to transitional housing environments, a clear need became evident: veterans in particular were disproportionately represented among those experiencing housing instability and often required structured, disciplined environments rather than emergency shelter models.
In response, Pray 24-7 365 began developing its own operational housing arm built upon the lessons, structure, and accountability standards observed and implemented during earlier collaborative efforts.

Today, Pray 24-7 365 operates RISE 24-7 365 in Jackson, Mississippi, launching its first twelve homes dedicated exclusively to veterans.
